New recruits

As a result of our continuing success, Casburt TMS have recently recruited two new people to help in the engineering projects and administration area's of the business.  

Andy Owen and Richard Atkins will help to improve still further the excellent levels of service we are providing to our customer base.

Andy has sound experience of setting up customer service centres providing spare parts inventory and service engineering together with installation, training and support of technical equipment.

Richard has been strongly involved in the customer service industry, providing and supporting hi-tech goods sold to the public.



New R & D Tablet Press

Casburt TMS launch the latest in the PTK range of tablet presses with the PR-LM Bench-top rotary tablet press.


 


Available in various configurations accepting either 'B' or 'D' type tooling, this tablet press is ideal for R & D or small batch production and is a welcome addition to the PTK range.

Casburt appoint new directors

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors to the Casburt TMS board.   General Manager, Geoff Charlesworth was appointed executive director towards the end of 2007 and Steve Foster recently joined the board as a non-executive director.  Geoff and Steve have contributed greatly to the success story of Casburt TMS and will continue to provide immense experience and guidance into the future.



Interpack, Dusseldorf

NATOLI EUROPE

Casburt TMS in partnership with Natoli Engineering has launched a new division designated - Natoli Europe - this has been set up to further enhance the presence of Natoli Engineering within Europe and beyond.  The new division which is fully supported by Natoli Engineering, will continue to provide a strong European base for all Natoli products with particular emphasis on tablet punches and dies. 

Natoli Engineering are the worlds largest manufacturer of tablet punches and dies and number practically every major multi national Pharmaceutical company amongst it's clients.

Steve Foster Joins the Casburt team

Casburt TMS are very proud to announce that Industry expert Steve Foster has joined their team.


Steve Foster is a specialist engineer with over 30 years experience of working in a large international Pharmaceutical company.  A recognised tablets processing and formulations expert, he has considerable experience of introducing new technologies to sites in the UK, Latin America and Europe.


With a particular interest in technical problem solving, Steve has developed performance monitoring techniques and fixtures for use with NIR and fibre optic technology and has presented at international solid dose symposiums.



New Tablet Punch Polishing System

Casburt TMS, seal a deal with top German manufacturer, Multifinish, to market their fantastic range of tablet punch polishing machines to the Pharmaceutical industry.



Pictured is Casburt managing director, Mr. Peter Caswell and Mr. John Reynolds, sales director and co/owner of multifinish. 

Mr. Reynolds was welcomed to the Casburt facility in August where he offered his congratulations on the sale of the first unit to a top UK pharmaceutical company and to prepare the ground for further sales. 

Interest in the Multifinish polishing machines is high with a full working demonstration unit already installed at Casburt.  We extend an open invitation for interested customers to bring along some punches for a free test session.

Casburt Launch the PTK range of Capsule Filling Machines into the UK, Ireland and Holland

First orders for PTK tablet presses

We are proud to anounce that we have now received the first orders for our high specification PTK tablet presses.   Currently 4 machines are being built for two seperate, well known pharmaceutical companies.  Delivery is expected early July.....More details to follow.  Casburt have a demonstration press on site, call us to arrange a visit or trial.

Casburt sign deal for PTK tablet press

Casburt TMS Managing Director Peter Caswell, formally signs a deal with Pharmtech Korea (PTK) to acquire the first PTK press into the UK. The press is scheduled to arrive in the UK in February 2007.  Casburt are part of the European distribution network for PTK products and will shortly launch their range of innovative tablet presses, together with the PTK Capsule filler, Coating machines and tablet de-dusters

Delegation from Thailand visits Casburt TMS

During August 2006, Casburt TMS were delighted to host a delegation from Thailand's largest state owned Pharmaceutical company, GPO to their facility at Stoke on Trent.

The delegates were attending an initial awareness session aimed at bringing their company closer to full regulatory acceptance.  The session was tailored specifically for the visitors who were from QA, QC and production departments, session leader was Terry Lewis.

Leading the delegation was Thailand based, Linda Ambrose who travelled over from Thailand with the group members.  Linda, formally of the MCA, is operating as a consultant to GPO as part of their pursuit for GMP compliance and World Health Organization (WHO) acceptance.
