Carbide & Ceramic Lined Dies

When compressing abrasive or acidic products a harder wearing die material is often required.

We are able to offer lined dies, carbide and ceramic, where the insert is bonded into an outer steel casing.

Carbide lined dies are used to provide a high level of wear resistance when compressing abrasive products. 

Ceramic lined dies offer a reduction of friction and are corrosion free, Ceramic dies are available for round and shaped tablets.

Tungsten Carbide and Ceramic lined dies are manufactured to the same tolerances and finish as standard steel dies.

Tungsten Carbide dies are available for round and shaped tablets and Ceramic lined dies are available for round tablets only.
